Ive been knitting and selling hats for a few months now, ive gotten quite good at it and everyone seems to love them! I love making them and the wee bit of extra income it provides is so helpful!!

Oh how ive gotten away from the basics of this blog!

To jolt us back! Pumpkin bars, oh they are so good, A cross between a pumpkin pie and a cake, thease are great plain or with cream cheese frosting.

Im a big fan of spice cakes and whatnot and this falls right in with those, its a pumpkin cake in essance but simple to make and tastes sooo good.

Ingredients.

2 cups flour, i use whole wheat flour

1 1/2 cup sugar i use organic cane sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking soda

dash or two of salt

1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

4 pre beaten eggs

1 cup oil i use EV olive oil

16 oz pumpkin

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, soda, salt and cloves, mix well. Add in beaten eggs, pumpkin nd oil and mix till well combined. I use my kitchen aid mixer and let it mix for about 10 minutes ( while i cleaned up )

Spread into ungreased baking pans. I used two 8X8X2 inch pans, but this will easily work in a 1/4 sheet baking pan as they do raise!

Cook at 350 for 25-30 minutes ( i needed 35 in my oven) till a knife in center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack and slice into bars, i cut mine into 6 bars per 8X8X2 pan.

Optional, frost with cream cheese frosting. But its good without!

Chase is getting so big and smily now!!!

Conner is very sick. He woke up coughing badly and crying. He had a fever of almost 104. Now we have all allready been exposed to this, and it sucks alot. Im hoping its just a mild flu and passes soon but in reality, i dont know.

No one else seems to be running a fever but im onthe lookout now.

Chase hit 11 lbs now, at 2 months old. Which is good. So a bit of good news… I just hope he dosent get sick hes much too small!

Chase is up to 10 lbs now! at 5 weeks old he is as big as his oldest brother at birth!

Im sorry, im going to get back into the swing of things soon, i need to set up a schedual for the internet, things to do everyday lol.

4 weeks old allready, I wish time would slow down some!

And how is everyone today. Sorry for the sporatic posts. im still getting used to three kids! Its not easy! Someone ALWAYS wants my attention and while im finding time for myself, i usually spend that time doing something i really enjoy.

So Mr. Chase is 3 weeks old now! Hes finally gaining weight and comes in at 8 lbs and 4 oz yesterday!!! From his birthweight of 7 lbs 13 oz.  Brennan is into his second week of school and is doing great and made friends with the little boy down the road! SOOO nice let me tell you for him to have a friend! Conner is doing well. Hes become such a big boy!

As for me, im super tired.  But i ordered a new camera lens this week, im so excited to get it in soon!

Life is just busy right now.   Its settling down, slowly, but it is setteling.

Little Chase is 3 weeks old now! Hes just about back at his birthweight of 7 lbs and 14 oz! Hes still such a tiny peanut! Newborn clothes are still big on him. It so odd compared to his much larger brothers. But im really enjoying my little peanut baby! I love it when they are small. Hes starting to wake up more now. For sometimes up to an hour, just watching everyone. Its nice.

Not getting any sleep, and thats not so nice, but that is life with a newborn after all.  There is no such thing as a good nights rest when you have children, specially three young ones! But im managing.

Having three kids is different. Conner isnt the baby anymore and he has to get used to that. We all have ajdustments to make.

BUT we are all managing.

Its one of those defining mom/ child moments, Your baby goes to their first day of school. All dressed up in some of their fav clothes. Ready to go. I think its the moms that are more teary eyed then the child. I have no fear that he wont like school, or that he wont get along with other children. I know hes going to do great.

Its just thinking back to the little baby he was, and how big and smart hes getting. Watching him grow, even if he is a grumpy boy most of the time. Hes still learning and growing. Figuring things out.

And now hes off to school.

Today dad dropped him off, and this afternoon he will ride the big boy bus home. At 3 45, i gotta be at the end of the road, brothers in tow, to collect Brennan from the bus. And hopefully he will have lots of stories about school, his wonderful teacher ( who i met last week, great lady, her husband was my sisters 3rd grade teacher hehe) and hopefully make some friends!

Mr Chase is one whole week old today.

Hes just a perfect lil boy. He is so sleepy all the time, which caused some weight loss of about a lb. ( not good when he was so small to begin with) but hes nursing much better now and gaining properly.

Big brothers Brennan and Conner have been doing great with him. Brennan was only home for 1 day before going camping, but he was always wanting to hold Chase. Conner loves holding him too, but only for a few seconds before he is “done!”

Chase is sleeping for 4 hours at a time, so good for night sleeping! And spends most of his nights in his bassinet, as long as one of my teeshirts is in there. Conner is also sleeping in the pack and play, leaving the huge king sized bed oversized for Tony and I. We feel so dwarfed. But its the first time really in 5 years that we get the bed to ourselves ( except when the kids were with my parents) so its awesome.

Chase is so tiny. Even newborn sized clothes are big on him, but hes going to grow, eventually lol.
