Snow Where are you?

So im rather frustrated. Here we are and having practically the 10th winter in a row where we get crap for snow. Whatever happened to living in Alaska and getting lots of snow. I remember getting 3 feet in a day. I remember them closing schools for snow. Now they havent closed the schools in several years from what my sister, who is in jr high, tells me. We get cold, cold and more cold. Its negative 13 according to my themometer on the house. That is ON the house, so it might be a degree or two off.
Come on SNOW! We miss the snow! I cant take my kids outside to play in this! Its soooo cold… I hate it, i have 3 breautiful scrap kits waiting for snow photos, and where is the snow!
I know we could always choose to move farther north. Where they get more snow, but they also get the extreme colds up there too and im not too willing to get into the regualar negative 40s that the north comes with.
So im stuck. No snow for me… BOOOOOO
