Pre-School check list.
Im not about homescooling my kids. I believe that they need interaction for their own good and because im a hermit and rather shy, they wouldent really get that behing home with me. In any event, I got word today that Brennan was approved for FREE preschool. OH YAY! It was a wild hair that we put in our app. And we got accepted on full scholorship. So that is just fantastic. Im so excited for him.
Now he needs a few things, school supplies wise, some big pensils, a notebook, a nap mat although he dosent nap, and a couple other things.
They also need our tax information, birth certificates, SSNs a physical and shot record for the boy.
Really its not a whole lot and ill find out more as soon as i get the tax information in. But school starts next week for the boy. Im excited and he is too!

Daily
Well Finally its sunny out. It wont last, The sattalite images show a storm similer to a hurricane going around and around us out there. But for now, its nice out. Hopefully it lasts. Not being able to see the mountains from where i live, i cant tell what they look like. There are a few small clouds, very flat, so im hoping thats all there is.
Im going to give my sons friends mom a call here in about an hour, Hopefully she is awake and we can meet at the park. It would be good for Brennan to see William and then they can play. I just want the nice weather to hold as long as possible.
And perhaps, my new camera lens to come in today!

Newness
Well Tony is on to a new job. They finally caught a break in the weather and were able to finish up the cabin that is 45 miles away.
here is a picture of the work they did. The put up all that siding. But before they could do that they had to stain and sand it down twice before putting on a final coat. The rain ruined the other coats. They sided the whole house. Built and stained the deck, painted the doors, jams and windows. There is also work done on the smaller part of the cabin as well as the sides that isnt photographed.

The Cabin
Their next job is putting in a bathroom. They are starting from scratch, even the waterlines havent been run to the room! its that new. He and mike extimate it should take them 3-4 days to do the entire bathroom, thankfully this job is inside and the crappy weather we have wont matter. So unlike the cabin job, where the rain kept ruining the stain on the log siding. IT can rain all it wants and they can still work.
So here is to a job well done, money earned, spent and enjoyed. And here is to another one to pay the bills.
Rain Rain Go Away
So day before yesterday we actually had a decent day out. It started out with a mostly sunny day, Veruy pretty out. Oh that blue sky was a sight for sore eyes! Its been raining for weeks here. We ended up taking a massivly long, 5 hour long, walk around town and hit up a park. Brennan rode his bike. Conner was so good in his stroller all day long! Of course my feet killed me. Then yesterday… oh it was misrable. It dumped rain on us again. But of course. Sadly, it sucked. Then today… the rain wasnt here. The clouds were but blissfully… it didnt rain on us!
Hopefully tomarrow will be a nice day. Im going to see about taking my boys to Bouncing Bears if its raining, but i would just love it if it were to be sunny, clear and warm. Im sure the kids would love it too. That means the park!
So hopefully the rain goes away… Please

Scrapbook pages
Ill admit i never get around to doing much for scrapbooking since my baby was born. I have a hard time find time to get everything out, much less getting things cut up. So i switched to digital scrapbooking. Ive found plenty of fun sites to get free graphics, ( all of which are used in the pages above)I even found some free software online that helps you make pages, although i prefer to use a program called Print Workshop.
Some of my fav sites are www.digitalscrapbooking.com
And
Www.Scrapgirls.com
Both have tons of freebies and you can buy other sets if you want to. Personally i like to use the free stuff. And i still get to scrapbook some. Even if i still find it hard to find time to get it all done, I still enjoy the sites. Check them out.

Burn
Conners 4th of July burn is pretty much healed. Its long since scabbed over and the scab has been peeling off. Its a huge scar for a small boy. Its almost shaped like a B, the bottom loop being smaller then the top one. However i suppose if one must look for a silver lining… My son has a very identifying mark on his stomach. Im hoping that by using scar cream like Mederma, and Vitamin E oil will help fade the scar some. But in reality… its a huge scar.
I feel so bad for him, i feel like its my fault that he got burned. Mom brought th sparklers, tony lit them and handed them to the kids. Kia dropped it on Conner, but he is my responsibility and its my fault he was burned. I just feel so badly that my baby has such a bad burn…

Rainy day
What can you do on a rainy day?
Why, teach your one year old to puddle stomp!

He didnt really get the message. Oh well, We will try again another time.
Firsts
I got an email from my husbands brother.
Lets sidetrack for a moment. My husband and his father dont get along. In fact they dont talk, the father has pretty much ignored Tony his whole life, and Tony is fine with that.
Anyway the brother is now 16 and he emailed us out of nowhere. He actually searched Tony out and sent him an email. Sent him his phonenumber and address. Even asked T to call him.
Im VERY hopefuly, that even if T and his dad cant have a relationship of any kind, That J and Tony can. That would be awesome. For my family.
